School Uniform Project

We want every child to feel happy and confident on their first day back at school.

Uniforms and school essentials can be a huge burden for families already struggling financially.

No parent wants their child to go back to school feeling like they don’t belong because they have old, ill fitting, or stained uniform. Our School Uniform Project works to help children attend school feeling confident and comfortable, looking just like their peers.

Our school uniform parcels include shoes for kids who otherwise would be wearing too small sizes for their growing feet; shirts, trousers, skirts and jumpers that fit and look new; PE kits including plimsolls or trainers; a bag to carry their school things so they don’t have to use carrier bags; and a new pencil case with the stationery basics.

What we provide

Our school parcels include all the practical clothing items: 3 sets of uniform, 2 lots of PE kit as well as brand new black shoes and trainers. Plus, a PE bag, so they don’t have to use carrier bags, filled with books, a water bottle and stationery.

Please note, as part of this project we do not accept pre-loved shoes and white socks. These items are provided brand new to students.

Thanks to our supporters, in 2025

We would like to sincerely thank you for your generosity in providing smart new uniforms, free of charge, to many of our families in need. The children themselves are beaming with pride – one even came to my office to proudly show off their new ‘pelican’ shoes! Your kindness is deeply appreciated.
