Our volunteers are the beating heart of Pelican Parcels. Without them we simply couldn't support the families who rely on us.

Join our volunteer team in the warehouse to help us sort donations and prepare parcels, or use your expertise to help us grow.

There are two ways you can support us as a volunteer:

Volunteer at Our Warehouse

Sifting and sorting items at our warehouse.

Share Your Expertise

Donate your skills to help us with specific tasks.

By giving your time, you can help sort donations, prepare parcels and support the day-to-day running of our warehouse.

You might:

Sort and check donated clothing, toys and equipment
Help safety-check and prepare items for families
Support deliveries to referral partners or families
Assist with warehouse organisation and stock

We also offer opportunities for:

Young people and Duke of Edinburgh participants
Flexible, ad-hoc volunteering including at events around Brighton & Hove
Regular weekly roles (typically four-hour sessions)

No specialist experience is needed: just a willingness to get involved.

What I like most is meeting with lovely, like-minded people and working together in a friendly environment in the knowledge that giving just a few hours of our time could make a meaningful impact on less fortunate families in our own city.
