Financial donations allow us to respond quickly and flexibly to the needs of families across Brighton & Hove.
While many items are donated, there are essential products we need to purchase including beds, mattresses, school uniforms, nappies and specialist items for babies and children.
Your support helps us:
Provide urgent items when families need them most
Purchase new items where safety requires it
Fill gaps when specific items are in short supply
Even a small donation can make a real difference:
£15 could provide an essentials parcel
£30 could provide a school uniform
£85 could provide a bed and bedding

Volunteer With Us
Our volunteers are the beating heart of Pelican Parcels. Without them we simply couldn’t support the families who rely on us.
By giving your time, you can help sort donations, prepare parcels and support the day-to-day running of our warehouse.
You might:
Sort and check donated clothing, toys and equipment
Help safety-check and prepare items for families
Support deliveries to referral partners or families
Assist with warehouse organisation and stock
We also offer opportunities for:
Young people and Duke of Edinburgh participants
Flexible, ad-hoc volunteering
Regular weekly roles (typically four-hour sessions)

No specialist experience is needed: just a willingness to get involved.
